Belize City & the Zip Rides through the caves and jungles of Belize.

These people represent a group of runaway slaves who sought freedom in Belize.

We took an hour bus ride out of the city and into a jungle on a fine dirt road!

This was our bus. Kenya wishes they had such good dirt roads...

This cemetary is just out of town. Above ground, like in New Orleans.

This is the cave where you get all your ropes, gloves and equipment..

It was really beautiful in the cave. Obvious why the Maya thought it was a sacred place. You hike about 400 yards up a little pathway to start your zip rides back down. At the end, you repell about 25 feet down into the cave.

This is the first jump point start. It was impossible to take pictures during the zip rides, but we flew over the canopy and a river about 200 feet down... Don't look down!

Kimberly is getting ready for our first jump.

Joe, somewhere among the zip rides...

We took this at lunch after the zip rides; Proof we made it through the adventure alive.
