Roatan Island, Honduras

Monkeys and Coxen Hole.

Coxen Hole from the ship .

At Gimbalya Park we got to play with monekys...

This one's name is Gennie the Meaning. She's on a wire up in the trees.

This one is coming towards us!

This one wants Joe's glasses...

This one wants to leap from Kimberly's shoulder onto Joe's camera! Watch Out!

Kimberly meets a new friend.

Can you see it? It's not a large rat, but it is native to the coast and islands of Central America. It's not a rat at all, but what did the Spanish invaders know? It's why the island is called Roatan.

The only city, Coxen Hole, below, is what they say the Caribbean looked like twenty five years ago.

Joe meets an interesting fellow in Coxen Hole.

Here, Joe gets his picture taken with a statue of a Spanish Invader. This was in the artficial cave built in Gimbalya Park to tell the story of the pirate John Coxen (who lost one hand, one leg and one eye, but not all at once) and the story of his hidden treasure some where or everywhere on the island.
