About an hour east of Rapid City, on the I 80, is a very little town of Wall. Known only for the very large (about two city blocks square) drug store, cafeteria, and collection of stuff for kids to look at and for people to buy. The place was founded on the idea that if you give free ice water to the passing travelers they will spend time and money on other things in the store and - boy howdey - did it work.

Wall was the farthest EAST we traveled.

Well worth the trip.
